Alvin S. RoAlvin S. Ro, DDS

Dr. Alvin Ro graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Maryland Dental School in 2000 where he served as class president. While a dental student, he was awarded the AAE Achievement Award in Endodontics. He was a member of the GORGAS, Gamma Pi Delta, and Omicron Kappa Upsilon Honor Societies. After completing a residency at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Washington, D.C., he attended the Albert Einstein Medical Center in Philadelphia for specialty training in endodontics, where he served as chief resident.

He has served the local dental community as president of the Frederick County Dental Society and president of the Francis Scott Key Dental Study Club. He also attends several local and national dental meetings to provide you the best possible evidence-based treatment in endodontics. These meetings include the Edward C. Penick Endodontic Study Club, Frank Spear Study Club, Mid-County Dental Society, Frederick County Dental Society, and the Francis Scott Key Dental Study Club. He uses state-of-the-art equipment to provide you with the best care possible.

He currently resides in Gaithersburg with his wife and two boys. In his spare time, he likes to play golf, tennis, cycle and swim.
 

 

KimKim - Office Manager

Kim’s professional background includes 20+ years of experience in the dental profession. Upon graduating from the dental assisting program at The Medix School, she began her dental career as a Certified Dental Assistant and Dental Radiation Technologist. After many fulfilling years of providing direct patient care as a clinical assistant, her dental career expanded to include front desk administration which lead her to a career in dental office management. She regularly attends continuing education courses and continues to be licensed in Maryland as a QDA and RDT. Kim also serves as the OSHA safety coordinator for the practice. Her extensive knowledge and experience with dental insurance enables her to help our patients best utilize their insurance benefits while minimizing their out-of-pocket costs and help them make informed decisions regarding their dental health. Kim welcomes patients to contact her with any questions or concerns regarding their dental care.
